Platform Engineering
We extend marketing platforms with tailored engineering. The goal isn't to replace the platform — it's to enhance it where it falls short
- Clear scope boundaries
- Engineering-first output
- Documented handover
We design and build the systems that sit around your marketing stack — integrations, automation, extensions and custom tooling — when out-of-the-box functionality isn't enough.
Engineering systems around your marketing stack — extending capability, improving reliability, and removing operational friction.
We extend marketing platforms with tailored engineering. The goal isn't to replace the platform — it's to enhance it where it falls short
We design integration layers that prioritise reliability, traceability and maintainability — not just quick connections.
Marketing environments grow messy at scale. We build the tooling that keeps them clean, consistent and efficient.
When the native interface becomes restrictive or overly complex, we create focused tools that make day-to-day operations easier.
Real engineering work delivered for marketing teams who thought "it can't be done" — or that it would take far longer than it should.
A complex hierarchical taxonomy matrix was being maintained across spreadsheets, Eloqua picklists, landing page forms and custom JavaScript logic. Each update required manual changes in multiple systems — with high risk of inconsistency or broken form behaviour.
We engineered a centralised publishing system that treated the taxonomy matrix as the single source of truth. Updates automatically:
The new workflow: update the taxonomy matrix and publish. Everything else updates automatically.
Outcome: What had previously required dedicated operational effort became a single governed publish action.
We developed a system that aggregates contact-level marketing activity and generates structured AI summaries in natural language — turning raw engagement logs into actionable insights.
This was wrapped in an Eloqua Action App so marketing teams could generate summaries on-demand or as part of their campaign/programme flows.
Outcome: Raw engagement data became usable sales intelligence — generated on demand inside existing workflows.
A rebrand left the marketing team with the mammoth task of updating every email and landing page.
We created a controlled process to programmatically update CSS and structural elements across thousands of marketing emails, versioning and validating changes before deployment.
Outcome: A months-long manual update was reduced to a matter of days through controlled, programmatic rollout.
The web team are experimenting with new URL structures for the entire company website. The marketing team can't keep track of broken links in their always-on email campaigns.
We developed a scheduled validation system that checks every link across an entire marketing email library, reporting HTTP status and highlighting failures before they affect live campaigns.
Outcome: Always-on campaigns gained continuous link validation, with errors surfaced proactively before affecting live performance.
Following an acquisition, a marketing team needed to migrate all assets from one Eloqua instance to another. However, direct access from external machines was prohibited by the original instance owner, preventing traditional migration scripting.
We developed automated migration tooling capable of replicating assets across environments — and packaged it as a secure desktop application. A designated internal staff member could run the migration locally, within the permitted network boundary, without exposing credentials or requiring external access.
The result was a controlled, large-scale migration delivered within governance constraints — without manual rebuilds.
Outcome: A full platform migration was executed securely inside network boundaries, without compromising governance or rebuilding assets manually.
We work in two ways — as an ongoing technical partner or through focused project delivery. The right approach depends on how continuous your engineering demand is.
Structured monthly engineering capacity.
What you get:
Best suited for:
Teams with continuous technical demand.
Environments where requirements evolve month to month.
Organisations that want engineering depth without hiring.
Designed for teams that need dependable engineering available — not just when something breaks, but as the platform evolves.
Defined engineering outcomes, delivered end-to-end.
What you get:
Best suited for:
Specific integrations or automation initiatives.
Platform migrations or large-scale updates.
Teams with a defined technical objective and timeline.
Ideal when you have a specific integration, migration or automation initiative that requires focused delivery.
Many clients begin with a focused project and transition into ongoing support.
If you've reached a limitation or need to extend your marketing platform, we're happy to review your environment and discuss the right approach.
